| 1. Written by Daryl Babcock on January 31, 2012 from south jordan, utah, US njattorney, how is your class action proceding? Can I get involved. They just offered me $580 for what the body shop tells me will be a $1500 repair on an accident where their insured made an illegal U-Turn right next to a no U Turn sign and then admitted full liability in front of the cop. When I refused the low ball check sent without my approval and said I wanted cash they told me to give my car over to the body shop and let their agents deal with it. Yeah, and I get crap work, garbage parts and a bill for the difference between what the shop wants and what Liberty Mutual pays? No freaking way! I'm going to court, but if you've already got a class action I want to know what's going on. |

Written by njattorney on December 22, 2011 from essington, pennsylvania, US I have a class action lawsuit I can file regarding Liberty Mutuals auto accident low ball payment tactics, but today (12/22/2011) is the last day for me to file as the statute of limitations is expiring. No cost to you but I can include your experience in the papers. Post a comment and I should see it. |
| 3. Written by OhNoesWhambulance on August 23, 2011 from gilbert, arizona, US So you were hit with comparative negligence and awarded 95% but whine and cry about 5%? You do realize if you went through your own insurance, you would have to pay your deductible in full and wait for them to collect through subrogation at times months or a year or more later? You were probably hit with 5% neligence because it was found you displayed some negligence yourself such as failing to keep proper look out or you should have flat seen the other person's car and done something to avoid it... Take the 5% hit and be thankful that person at least paid for insurance and you were out of pocket next to nothing. |
| 4. Written by Patty Mayo. on August 21, 2011 from cicero, illinois, US Liberty Mutual is a bunch of crooks! I had a claim like yours but they didn't offer me a cent. Their driver ran a stop sign, hit me in the driver side doors, and totaled my vehicle. Liberty Mutuals driver admitted it to police but changed their story to the Liberty Mutual. They claimed that they could deny my claim because their driver said they didn't do it. I asked about the police investigation that put them at fault and they basically told me "tough luck". I was looking for an attorney but I found a company on Yahoo answers that specializes in quickly resolving insurance claims. They are called Cerberus Subrogation Professionals. They were able to get Liberty mutual pay my claim in full. I want everyone to know that you don't have to let insurance companies walk all over you. |
