I had a legitimate claim. My physician had granted me a six months disability. My physical ailments were complicated. I was working at the University of California. I always wanted to get a bumper sticker that said "Liberty Mutual denied my legitimate claim" because they deserve that kind of publicity instead of the favorable advertisements they show on television. If you are sick or disabled count on Liberty Mutual to give you the shaft!! I'm hoping the next administration (not McCain) will be able to solve some of the medical issues faced by many Americans who fell ill, or behind in payments due to medical problems. Even Blue Cross- which is generally an o.k. company denied me visits to a oncologist when I was working on prevention. When I phoned them Erin in their business office said they had never heard of me -- didn't have me in their system -- I knew she was lying because Blue Cross routinely sent me itemized billings. Not everyone who files a claim is out to get rich. Everyone with half a brain knows that insurance companies are no better than attorneys--they try to get out of what is owed. Grow up |

Physicians have no legal say on how long someone can be out of work due to an illness. There is a process that I guarantee you Liberty Mutual followed exactly to the letter of the law. If they cut your disability short or denied you the time off it's most likely because you CAN go back to work. STOP MILKING THE SYSTEM! It's people like you who cost the rest of us so much extra in taxes and insurance premiums. |
