Liberty Mutual employees are the most deceitful, incompetent and rudest claims administrators around. The first claims administrator I spoke to lied about the times that she contacted me and my doctor’s office and about the requested information. I have in writing her lies and the actual proof that she lied. The second administrator was rude and every time I spoke to her she always acted like I was bothering her or putting her out. Is it too much to ask that someone actually does their job? Then when they denied my claim they sent me another letter detailing why it denied". I appealed it and pointed out the incorrect “facts” that they had/. They denied it again, but this time, a whole set of incorrect “facts” came up again!. If you are going to deny my claim that’s fine, but do it with the correct information!. When I called them all they said was that they weren’t going to do anything b/c I have only one appeal; even if it is their mistake:. The funny thing is that I have all of their incompetence in writing, and they still don’t care!. Probably because they know that they have no repercussions for their actions'. The bad rep that insurance agents have is because of companies like Liberty Mutual/. I would not be their customer if I had a choice. 12a689d

The experience you had is typical of the larger disability insurance companies. Trust me, I deal with it every day. You have to check your policy to see if you have more than 1 appeal, but if not, your only option is to sue them (will have to be in federal court if it is a group policy). I suggest you get an attorney.

Them saying that you have only one appeal is not correct. You can always go to court or to the Insurance Commission in your state. If it is workers' compensation, contact your Industrial Commission.
